Boxed 1st/2nd Series

  • Here is a Naval Harbour  Set, M906 produced in the 70s when Hornby revived the Triang Minic Ships range.  Made in Hong Kong but all the parts are identical to the 1st and indeed the third series except for the printing underneath.  This set contains HMS Vanguard in good condition and HMS Bulwark  with good paintwork but without mast and a plane is damaged., 3 quays, four breakwaters and ends, two crane sets and oil tanks.  There is a 4 page catalogue as per photos and a harbour plan. Overall this is almost a complete set and in good condition. The contents are in good condition.   The box has rips and part missing.  The artwork is good. our ref Set 7
  • Here is another Ocean Terminal Set, M902 produced in the 70s when Hornby revived the Triang Minic Ships range.  Made in Hong Kong but all the parts are identical to the 1st and indeed the third series except for the printing underneath.  This set contains Queen Mary in good condition (one mast fixed and one loose), 5 quays, ocean terminal and extension pieces, two breakwaters and ends. crane set and customs shed. Also one tug.  There is a 4 page catalogue as per photos and a harbour plan. Overall this is almost a complete set and in good condition. The contents are in good condition.   The box is quite good with some wear but displayable. The artwork shows the Queen stern  forwards as she arrives at the dock. our ref Set 16

  • Here is a boxed Triang Minic  M827 set of 6 breakwater straights. Condition is good and the box is quite good.  Dont often find a box of these hence it's worth listing.    Our ref X202. Only 4 in  the photo but there will be 6 when sold.
  • Here is a boxed Triang Minic Floating Dock, M885.  Included are the base and the  two sides and the box. Condition of the sides is mint as is the box. The base is good with slight marking  which will probably rub off with a tissue.    Our ref X203. Impressive item.
  • 1st Series liner /freighter mail ship that served Australia and New Zealand. Port Brisbane M 716

    Made by  Triang Minic Ships made towards the end of ,the range around 1962-4  so 60 years old.

    Condition of the model is good/very good with just slight wear and a little dust on the deck.  Condition of the box is quite good, some wear as per the photos. This is just over 5 inches long. Or 138mms.  Our ref T73 click here to make an offer
  • 1st Series HMS Vanguard battleship in grey. Made between 1958 and 1964 the ship is good and has two cranes. The box is quite good, some life wear. 8 inches or 220 mms in length. Big ship. Triang ref M741. Our ref T72.  
  • 1st Series Cunard Ocean liner

    M710 RMS Sylvania transatlantic liner of Cunard Lines. 21000 tons and built to sail between Liverpool or Southampton to Canada or the USA. Made by Triang Minic ships between 1958 and 1964. This ship has very little wear.  There are no masts.  The box is OK.  Triang code M 710. Approx 6 inches long. 155mm. Our ref T64.
  • 1st Series French Lines Flandre M714

    This is a model from the First series of Triang Minic ships which were made from 1958 to 1964. A rare boxed example of SS Flandre, and in all white too, a much loved cruise ship. There is a little wear with a dusty deck.  Full set of plastic masts. The box is in good condition. 60 years old. This is about 6 inches long. Or 15cms. My ref T63.

The box is good and the ship has some playwear.  Mast present. She is 7 inches long or 190mm. Minic code M 751, our ref T21 This is the Tri-ang Minic Ships model of HMS Bulwark one of a class of four Light Fleet Carriers laid down at the end of the Second World War and commissioned during the 1950's. Tri-ang Minic produced identical models of HMS Bulwark, HMS Centaur and HMS Albion. The model of HMS Bulwark is distinguished by the model number and name marked on the underside and the deck code 'B'    
  • This is a model from the First  Series of Triang Minic ships which were made between 1958 and 1964. HMS Superb cruiser in grey, with a somewhat faded box. The ship is playworn.  She is 6 inches long or 140mm. Great ships to have in a fleet.Minic code M 762. Our ref T45 This is the Tri-ang Minic Ships model of HMS Swiftsure one of a proposed class of eight Light Cruisers, known as the Minotaur Class, which were ordered under the 1941 and 1942 Warship Construction Programmes. The design was modified after the first two ships, HMS Swifture and HMS Minotaur, were laid down in 1941 as a result of which these two ships became known as the "Group 1" ships. The "Group 2" ships, sometimes referred to as the Superb Class, included HMS Superb of which Tri-ang Minic Ships also produced a model. The models of HMS Swiftsure and HMS Superb were identical distinguished only by the model number and name marked on the underside.

  • This is a model from the second series of Triang Minic ships made in the 70s under the Hornby name. This is SS United States, holder of the Blue Riband at various times for the fastest travel cross the Atlantic.  A great liner from the age of transatlantic luxury. She is 10 inches long or 250mm. The model is boxed and has not been removed at all.  These boxes do show wear but this example is as good as it gets. Triang Minic code M 704. Our ref X960
