Oleander RoRo Cross Channel Ferry for Trans European Ferries. Last two.
Here is a detailed metal model of Oleander, a Cross Channel Ro Ro Spirit Class ferry built in the 1980s so in her fourth livery from 2001-2013 that of Trans European Ferries.
Inmpressive model is our considered verdict.
She was the first of three to built in class and was the the first passenger-carrying ferry on the Dover Strait with two vehicle decks and double-level loading and she set the tone of all subsequent developments on the route. Originally built for Townsend Thoresen.
She was 132metres long and just under 8000 tons in size and top speed of 22 knots and carrying 1400 passengers.
This model was released in July 2019. Scale is 1/1250
Code ref MM503
Mountford plan to release all three of the Spirit class in its various liveries during 2019/20 and a stretched version too.
