Hi and hello from CN Collectables. As promised the Devonport Dockyard Basin 3 Kit has docked and we have been sending out preorders today. Nine new aircraft have landed too as has the Holland Class Frigate of the Dutch and Nato navy. We were pleased to hear that all four of the class have visited Plymouth.
Our shop is very busy with many new listings and new products arriving next week. The virus is still very much around so we are still being very careful. Good news is that the postal services are returning to normality. Next posting day will be Monday 26th October and we are pleased to say that weare up to date with orders. The need for careful mask wearing and distancing is getting worse, alas. Thank you.
Postage prices out of the UK went up 1st September and again from the 5th October. We will just carry on and see how much change there is as we go. If this site gets it radically wrong we will refund you the over payment.
Kind and caring wishes to all our friends and customers around the world as the pandemic infiltrates every community in the world.
Next dockside project is the Devonport Basin 3 submarine basin that is next to the frigate complex and IN STOCK. It comes as a stand alone and fits neatly to our kit of Basin 2 which is now down to single figures left.
As well as ships have all sorts of items here such as CDs, diecasts, books and model railways as collections are sorted and reduced. We love model buses, railways and all forms of transport.
The last general Newsletter was in middle September. .
Old and used Triang items we use three categories mint/good, playworn/reasonable and tatty for restoration ie for TLC. which is for repaint and restoration. Triang ships are amazingly tough. Oh and sometimes we can’t find an item which you have bought. This is down to being human so sorry.
CN Collectables on Ebay is now into its 20th year now and continues because it is so easy to use in almost every part of the world. We have had customers in 81 countries plus BFPO,AFPO, Britannia Naval College and several ships including the much lamented HMS Illustrious. This site is now in its fifth year. You will find that a number of items are cheaper here than on Ebay because of their high charges to sellers.
There is no news on any further Triang releases but we can confirm that Charles was alive and well and we had a long conversation in November 2017 but silence ever since. regrettably the TMS website disappeared recently. Triang stocks have reduced significantly.
Clive and Dave.
