4th July. Happy Independence Day the USA. Everything ordered up to 28th June has been posted. Next post Monday 6th. We now have stock of Tideforce and Tidesurge, the Type 31 frigate and seven Rivers, the V class freighters, Normandie, Bretagne and the Commodore Clipper ferries and some new stock of Astute and Typhoon submarines and some QE and POW Carriers. There’s new ship model arriving every week it seems. We now have MV Galatea the lights and buoys tender working for Trinity House and just arrived is Pharos which looks after the lights and buoys around the Isla of Man and all of Scotland. Wow!
Hi and hello from CN Collectables. We are still able to trade but only posting once a week usually on Mondays. We are now trying to post more often from 25th June. The post is strange and we have had 2 parcels going to the same postcode and taking 1 and 6 days respectively. If you think that you should have received a parcel by now please email us. Thank you for your patience. We are also using tracking more often because of the virus affected postal deliveries.
This week is the 4th anniversary of our website so there are a number of items being put in our Anniversary Sale.
Kind and caring wishes to all our friends and customers around the world as the pandemic infiltrates every community in the world.
Our Ebay shop is back on but all its customer protections are the same on this site and there are far more items here. All financial info is by 3rd party and not on the site anywhere.
Other news is that we have begin to stock some helicopters and will soon have some planes too. There’s an updated list in the library.
Next dockside project is the Devonport Basin 3 submarine basin that is next to the frigate complex and due in September.
As well ships have all sorts of items here such as CDs, books and model railways as collections are sorted and reduced. We love model buses, railways and all forms of transport.
The last general Newsletter was in late June 2020.
Kits are discontinued and full hull submarines are unlikely to be remade unless enough of you request them. So those listed here are the only ones around. The priority for Mountford is to make new models and keep supplies up of the recent releases. What we list is what we have; here and covering the other sites on which we list. We did acquire a clear out of various Mountford items recently and have steadily listed them.
Old and used Triang items we use three categories mint/good, playworn/reasonable and tatty for restoration ie for TLC. which is for repaint and restoration. Triang ships are amazingly tough. Oh and sometimes we can’t find an item which you have bought. This is down to being human so sorry.
CN Collectables on Ebay is now into its 20th year now and continues because it is so easy to use in almost every part of the world. We have had customers in 76 countries plus BFPO,AFPO, Britannia Naval College and several ships including the much lamented HMS Illustrious. This site is about to begin its fifth year. You will find that a number of items are cheaper here than on Ebay because of their high charges.
There is no news on any further Triang releases but we can confirm that Charles was alive and well and we had a long conversation in November 2017 but silence ever since. regrettably the TMS website disappeared recently. Triang stocks reduced significantly in 2018 and again in 2019.
Clive and Dave.
